Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Warm Up: What are you afraid of?
  1. Quickly write a short list of your fears (try not to judge yourself).
  2. Write 3 sentences about one of your fears.
  3. Share your list and sentences with a partner. Record their name and be ready to report out two fears they discussed.   Example: "Juan is afraid of frogs and driving at night."

Warm Up: Write sentences to describe one of your childhood friends. Use present tense and be Dramatic! Pretend they are a character in a novel. Work with a partner and describe/read your account to them. Partners will take notes and report out.

Chapter Four Quiz:

In small groups students brainstormed appropriate adjectives to describe the main character Miguel. Then volunteers wrote samples on the white board.
