Warm Up
Students wrote 3 simple past tense sentences about last weekend and shared with a partner. They also quizzed each other on irregular simple past tense spelling.
Workbook 40 and 41, and 45 thru 47
Students wrote drafts or outlines on their Food Oral Presentation (see photo from 3/13/18).
Then in group of 4-5 the students practiced their presentation (sitting but without reading their notes)
These same groups then discussed Chapter 16:
1. Students wrote 2-3 sentences about what they felt was the most significant action (focus on simple past tense).
2. Then individuals shared in groups and choose a recorder to write down the verbs used.
3. The instructor pulled important verbs from each group for a master list.
Homework: Reach Chapter 17 and write 6 definitions. Due on Thursday.
