Class on 1/27/11

We reviewed our Pretest and re-wrote all corrections in our notebooks
            REWRITE = REWORK, ask questions make sure you understand all the corrections.

Small group discussions: What did I learn in Mr Palma’s class yesterday? From the student’s ideas we wrote the following paragraph:

            “I learned many things in last night’s class. We discussed the importance of our own experiences and expectation about education. We will be listening to a radio program that shares different culture’s experiences in the American Educational system. We know that through the blogs and other means we will continue to share our own perspectives as we learn more about the history of early childhood education.”

Individually students were asked to build their own lists from the following questions:

Study all the vocabulary words above: make sure you can spell every word.
Choose 10 and write sentences with the vocabulary word and a To Be in the past. Use all variants. For example:   "In Mexico I was a high school teacher."
